Fernanda recognizes the challenges and changes that life presents. Through counselling, she seeks to help others with empathy and awareness. As a clinician, Fernanda has firsthand experience of the transformative impact of the therapeutic relationship, which is why she strives to engage in a collaborative, compassionate, and authentic manner with her clients.
Having lived in various parts of the world, Fernanda possesses a multicultural perspective, both personally and professionally. Her previous experience encompasses therapeutic work with children, adolescents, and adults, as well as involvement with a social reintegration organization that supports adolescents, women, and children. Her areas of focus include depression, anxiety, trauma, the immigration adaptation process, relationships, and burnout. Her practice is culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and rooted in a compassionate Cognitive Behavioral approach. She acknowledges that the therapeutic process must be tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. Fernanda provides counselling in English and Spanish.
