Kirsten graduated with a BSc. in Nursing from Langara College in 2013. She received her Pediatric Emergency Specialty Certificate in 2018 from BCIT. She has nearly a decade of experience in pediatric nursing at BC Children’s Hospital in a wide variety of clinical areas, which is foundational to her family-centred practice. Kirsten studied nursing education and leadership during two years of the MSc. in Nursing program at UBC before entering UBC’s Family Nurse Practitioner program, which she graduated from in 2022.
Kirsten takes a collaborative approach to primary care that is focused on health promotion, disease prevention and empowerment strategies.
In her spare time, Kirsten enjoys doing the Grouse Grind and spending time at her family’s off-the-grid cabin in the Gulf Islands!
