Does anxiety tell you constantly to worry about various things? Did you ever experience anxiety or a good come back from anxiety, only to experience its relapse after that? In this therapeutic support group, you will understand how anxiety becomes hard-wired in the brain through anxiety habits such as worrying, rumination, avoidance, and procrastination. You will learn skills and engage in therapeutic activities that will allow you experience therapeutic change. Anyone age 18 and over can attend. An official diagnosis of anxiety is not necessary. Depression Therapy Group
Do you seek love and acceptance and always make efforts to seem happy? Have you found yourself pushing all reward activities away from your life and feeling trapped in the dark pit of doom unable to inch your way out? In this therapeutic support group, you will understand how depression becomes hard-wired in the brain through habits such as thinking of worst-case scenarios, blaming your failures on the closest people in your life, and making cover up stories. Fighting this alone is not easy and medication helps dealing with the symptoms, but they will not help you with the re-wiring of your brain. In this therapeutic support group, you will learn skills and engage in therapeutic activities that will allow you experience therapeutic change. Anyone age 18 and over can attend. Anger Management Group
While anger is characterized by physiological arousal, maladaptive behaviors, and hostile thoughts as a response to disrespectful and demeaning treatment, anger is also a learned and practiced response and even a lifestyle. In this therapeutic support group, you will understand anger triggers and subliminal emotions such as shame, rejection, grief, and anxiety that build anger (a secondary emotion). You will learn skills and engage in therapeutic activities that will allow you experience therapeutic change. Anyone age 18 and over can attend.
